I added Coil under Add Object → 3D. Orbiting spiral forms rendered as flat linework.
How to use Coil
- Open Studio → Add Object → 3D → Coil
- A live Coil element is added to the active layer
- Tune parameters in the element card in the right sidebar (live preview on the canvas)
- Export plot-ready G-code when satisfied
Menu path: Add Object → 3D → Coil

Frequently asked questions
Where is Coil in the menu?
Add Object → 3D → Coil
What can I adjust?
Start with the key controls above, then fine-tune everything else in the right sidebar inside Studio.
Is this non-destructive?
Objects live on layers as elements. You can edit parameters anytime; delete the element to remove it.
Does Coil work with multi-pen plotting?
Yes. Use Pen Palette on a layer to split linework by color, or set per-path ink on modifiers like Offset.
