See it framed on the wall before you plot it
Preview puts your drawing on the real sheet of paper, in your pen colours, inside a real frame in a lit room — and exports a photo-quality image for your shop, portfolio or feed.

One drawing, every setting
Every image on this page was rendered by Preview in the browser from the same two-pen plot.

From board to product photo
Five steps, a couple of minutes, no photo studio.
- Step 1
Open Preview from Export
Finish your design on the board, click Export, then Preview. Your drawing opens on a sheet the size of your printer bed — exactly where it will be plotted.
- Step 2
Choose the paper and pens
Pick the sheet — your bed, A5 to A3, US Letter, squares or a custom size — and its colour. Give every layer its pen colour, set the real pen width in millimetres, and choose matte, gel or metallic foil ink.
- Step 3
Frame it
Five frame profiles in oak, ash, maple, walnut, white or black. Tuck the paper under the frame, float it with a gap, or cut a mat window around the drawing or the whole sheet — all in millimetres.
- Step 4
Light the room
Drag the light around the piece. Use a soft studio light, or let sunlight fall through a window, blinds or leaves. Shadows soften with distance, just like a real room.
- Step 5
Export the image
Add lens depth of field to focus on the artwork, crop for Instagram (4:5, 1:1), stories (9:16) or banners (3:2), and export PNG or JPEG up to 4096 px — rendered at full size, not upscaled.

Built to look real
Real paper sizes
Your printer bed, A-series, US Letter, squares or custom. "As plotted" keeps your drawing exactly where it sits on the bed.

Per-layer pen colours and true pen width in matte, gel or metallic foil ink — on any paper colour, even black.
Real frames & mats
Mitred profiles with wood grain, bevel-cut mats with a white core, float mounts and optional glass.
Light that behaves
Soft area-light shadows, contact shadows where the frame meets the wall, and sunlight through windows, blinds or leaves.
Rooms, not backdrops
On the wall, leaning on oak or walnut boards, or lying on a table — with plaster walls and skirting.
Camera & export
Real lens depth of field focused on your artwork, then PNG or JPEG at 1080, 2400 or 4096 px with optional film grain and vignette.
