Pattern Maker is an Add Object tool in Lines & Patterns inside 3DPlotter V3 Studio. A grid of shapes with morphing form and accumulating transforms.
How to use Pattern Maker
- Open Studio → Add Object → Lines & Patterns → Pattern Maker
- A live Pattern Maker element is added to the active layer
- Tune parameters in the element card in the object stack (live canvas preview)
- Export plot-ready G-code when satisfied

Key controls
- Start shape — square · Square, Rectangle, Circle…
- End shape — sameAsStart · Same as start, Square, Rectangle…
- Rotate scope — instance · Whole instance, Each ring
- Layout — grid · Grid, Staggered
- Accumulation — additive · Additive, Exponential
Tune start shape, end shape, rotate scope, layout, and accumulation in the inspector — open Studio to see all options.
Shuffle (in the element card) re-rolls: startShape, endShape, layout, columns, rows, columnRotation, rowRotation, accumulation.

Yes. Use Pen Palette on a layer to split linework by color, or set per-path ink on modifiers like Offset.
